5 MINUTE FIRST IMPRESSIONS: BODY SHOP GOODIES

So this is the first Five Minute First Impressions in this series where as the title states I will be giving some first impressions and short reviews of products that I have picked up recently.

I recently took advantage of the Body Shop discount codes that are often advertised on their website and decided to pick up a few things that had caught my eye for a long time. These were the Camolie Cleansing Oil and the Honey Bronzer, both inspired by Amelia Liana and Essie Button... isn't everything though?

TOP 5 LIPSTICKS

I am a lipstick lover.. an addict. I have plenty of lipsticks but today I'm sharing my 5 favourite lipsticks at the moment. As you can see there is a few pinks which may look very similar but to me and fellow lipstick lovers, they are completely  different.... I promise!

1. Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipstick in Pink Blush (006)

As you can see this lipstick is well loved as it is so easy to apply to quickly finish of a make up look. The lipstick is a subtle pink which could be described as a Frost/Creme Sheen finish as it does contain tiny bits of shimmer but they are unrecognisable when applied to the lips.

2. Revlon Super Lusturous Lipstick in Pink Pout (002)

This lipstick has recently become one of my favourite lipsticks to wear due to the blue tone running through the lipstick which is ideal for my pale skin. Revlon describe the finish as a Matte but I would say that the finish is more of a Creme Sheen finish.

PS. Revlon currently have a deal on in Boots with their lipsticks 2 for £10!!!!

4. Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick in Oxford Street Fushia (130)

Another favourite of mine is the Rimmel Moisture Renew in Oxford Street Fushia where firstly the packaging is lovely.. let's just say I'm a sucker for lipstick packaging! This shade of pink is a lot brighter on the lips and may not be really suitable for school/work compared to the other two I have previously mentioned. However, it still is a lovely pink to brighten up your face.

4. Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Kiss Me Coral (750)

Here we have the brightest colour of my lipstick favourites, think MAC Morange but slightly... only slightly a little bit lighter. Once again the formula of these lipsticks are lovely to apply but you do have to reapply after a couple of hours but personally I don't mind.

5. Revlon Lip Butter in Wild Waterlemon (063)

Once again this is a recent addition to my lipstick collection and I love it! The Revlon lip butters are so easy to apply and give incredible pigmented colour to your lips. This shade is perfect for the English summer with hints of coral and red to make it a great lipstick to wear if you're not brave enough to embrace the full bold lip. It is also perfect for paler skin to add some warmth into your face and makeup.
PS. I apologise for the dodgy lipstick application... ooops!

Those are my top 5 favourite lipsticks, but what are your favourite current lipsticks at the moment? I'm always on the hunt to find more lipsticks....

VISIT TO COOMBE ABBBEY

Last month we celebrated my Nana's 80th birthday with a trip to Coombe Abbey and this is what happened...
We sat down before our cream tea and had a cheeky sip of pink champagne... yum!

As you can see, I cannot pose for photos as you will see throughout this post.. damn you closed eyes!

The view was pretty incredible too!

We finally sat down and was amazed at all the food! Cheese and pickle sandwiches went down a treat compared to the salmon sandwiches which were left all by there self. Cream tea also included Pimms jelly and also yummy macaroons!

As you can see, I was pretty happy with my scones! (PS. I DIDN'T BLINK!!)
The staff also treated my Nana to a lovely plate of macaroons, fudge and white chocolate
to celebrate her birthday (even though she didn't want to be reminded that she was 80!)

After the tasty tea we needed to walk some of it off so luckily the sun was out
so we explored the grounds of Coombe Abbey..

Coombe Abbey is worth a visit just to explore the surroundings alone where the land spreads acres which is perfect for picnicking! Overlooking the lake and gardens the country house is perfect for special occasions or just for a short break away! I have also heard that we may be visiting it again in a few weeks so there best be some macaroons left!!
